I was turned on to Beast Pieces, a magnificent blog by Studio on Fire the other day and I had to wipe away the drool from my mouth as soon as it loaded. This is an incredible example of excellent work in stationery. I especially love Studio On Fire's own Sweetheart Seamstress Stationery--what a great way to incorporate retro pattern and texture into a modern format. I have the version of this stationery set that was on sale at Anthropologie a few years ago (that's all I can afford from Anthropologie).

I will most likely be spending the rest of this week sifting through all the posts. The best aspect of this blog is that it is a journal for Studio on Fire's extensive portfolio. It is such a treat to see the inner workings of a graphic design studio and learn how they cultivate their clientele. I know so little about creating a corporate identity (especially using something so fantastic as letterpress), and there is a wealth of information about production, ink, paper, and client focus.
Hope you all are having a great week! Spring is around the corner, which means more weekend craft shows! I'll be posting information about applications and show dates in the next few days.
