Folks, those of you in the know are aware of a huge project I've been a part of at my job. As part of our economic development initiatives, we helped a lifelong Sandtown resident open a coffee shop/convenience store on the corner of Presstman and Stricker Streets. It's called Gerry's Goods and the coffee blows Starbucks out of the competition. Besides, you have to meet Gerry Palmer, the owner. This blog post is a shout out to him and all the hard work he's put in to opening his own shop. He has changed his path from destruction to revitalization, and no one could make me prouder.
Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 7am - 5pm, Saturdays from 8am - 4pm, and Sundays from 8am - 2pm (closed for church from 11am to 1pm). The address is 1500 Presstman Street in the neighborhood of Sandtown in West Baltimore. Please stop by and get some coffee! Or a chai latte!
